Patchwork weekend

I have had a lovely weekend at Rawson with the Pakenham Patchworkers. I went with my friends Ramona and Sue and we sewed all weekend!! Oh and we ate too!!! the food was yummy yummy and a few lollies and chocolate managed to sneak themselves onto the table too. We did promise that we wouldn't eat as much as last year and we didn't!!!

P1050428 Here is Ramona with the bag she made on Sat, both Sue and I made one too and we were feeling very pleased with ourselves!!!

P1050433 Fiona spent a lot of time quilting her "Journey of a quilter"

P1050425 Julie finished stitching her top of my pattern "believe in the magic", it looks fantastic!!

It is always a great weekend and we really enjoyed it! Thanks Barb, Chris and Fiona for letting us sit with you, we had a ball and lots of laughs too!!
Hope to see you next year Kerryn!!

until next time!!

Tassie!!

Natalie and I had a great weekend in Tassie (boy it's cold there!) with Brenda and the girls from Blue Willow Cottage. I met up with Sarah and Cathy and lots of other ladies. Here is my pink project which I have now released as a pattern. (thanks Chris for a great workshop!)

Buttons and bows It is called "buttons and bows" and will be available next week from your local patchwork shop. If they don't have it, ask them to order it for you!!!

Jan & nicole Here are Jan and Nicole having a lovely time catching up and sewing a few stitches.

We also had time to go to the Evandale market where I had a lovely time buying more baskets for my home. It was a bit tricky getting them on the plane but I managed okay!!
Friday I am off to Rawson with the Pakenham quilters and I will be ready for the cold weather there!! I hope to have a relaxing weekend with my friends Sue and Ramona.

Until next time….(where there might just be a give away!!)

Gail

it’s been a while….

since I have posted (although I still have been reading lots of blogs!!). Most of the projects I am working on a secret, I have done something for Homespun Magazine for next year. I have finished 4 of the projects I am taking to Norway in September. I have been busy working on a new logo with the fabulous Anthea, (who is also putting my book together…it's starting to take shape) so I will have something to show next week.
I am also working on projects for a few workshops coming up in the next few months…(only 11 and a bit weeks until Norway!!)
Next weekend will see me in Tassie with the fun loving Natalie (check out her new logo!!)
and I will be releasing a new pattern after that (remember the pink?) I hope we won't be too cold in Tassie but it's going to be a lot of fun!!!
So I don't have any sneak peeks at the moment but I have a photo of the jonquils in my front yard!!

See you on Tues for the next block of A Christmas Wish!!
