There are a few new books from Martingale and I really want to show you these two..

Firstly, A Flair for Fabric is compiled by Linda Lum de Bono….with all proceeds going to the Red Cross.

I love this book as it has something for everyone, including this adorable project from Anni Downs

and this equally gorgeous quilt from Kim Diehl

and secondly, this book Vintage Vibe from Amber Johnson

here are two of the quilts…..loving the star one!!

I can never have enough quilt books and these are definitely new favourites!!

I am so excited to let you all know about this wonderful event that Stacy from Buttermilk Basin has organised for the start of Dec (not that far away!)

It's Day 3 of the Quilted Living Book Tour, welcome!

I am so excited to be a part of this book tour!

Quilted Living is the new book by Gerri Robinson of Planted Seed Designs for The Fat Quarter Shop.

There are 10 projects in the book and we had to choose one to make..

I chose Basketweave….made with my fabrics Baskets in Bloom for Red Rooster Fabrics (get it…..basket theme happening here!)

I love to have small quilts around my home…on the couch, on the balastrade, on the coffee table…but I love to photograph them outside as my house is quite dark!!

I absoutely am thrilled with how it came out, I made it just a tad smaller and quilted it with an allover swirly pattern…it was so great to make a quilt where I didnt have to write the instructions!

Gerri's book is so bright and cheerful and all the projects are just so summery and fresh!! You can buy it here
