We had such a lovely day on Sat catching up with friends and making new ones!
It was great to see all the amazing projects the girls were working on…..this was a "finishing day", a chance to work on projects that needed work and also to do it with friends, food and fun!
I only managed one photo so I am sharing a few from Shez…go to her blog to see more and also to Melody's blog as well.
I also released my new Simply Christmas book. This one is No 4 (2016) and I am thrilled that the girls loved it!

I admit I am a fabric hoarder….I try to get rid of my scraps but I can't…I just love scrap quilts and if you do then this book will inspire you to use your scraps in creative ways.
I have been making scrappy quilts, scrappy sewing bags and scrappy table runners over the past year….and my obsession hasn't slowed down. I use scraps as my leaders and enders while sewing other blocks together (although last summer I spent a whole day sewing just scraps!) In the end I have what I call my accidental quilts!
It's a fantastic title! And its a fantastic book too!
