Wow, what a fantastic time we all had down at Simpson for the Spring stitch in hosted by Linda from Gum Valley Patchwork. Lenora and I were so overwhelmed by all the lovely ladies who came from near and far to join us.

A big thanks to Linda for a wonderful day which went way too quickly and also I appreciate that some women came a long way to be with us and join in the fun. Same time next year????

just checking in to let you know that I have been busy, busy busy!! Another trip to the dentist and finishing off three new patterns, not to mention driving lessons!!!

But first I have picked 2 winners to each receive one each of the new petite patterns.

can you email me with your address and I will post them off asap. I am going away tomorrow but will be back on Monday so that gives you plenty of time to get in touch!

I am off to Simpson to teach a workshop with Lenora, hosted by the lovely Linda from Gum Valley Patchwork. I know we will have the best time!  Joining me on my little trip will be Loz, it will be fun! So look out Simpson, here we come!

have gone by and sometimes I feel like I have done nothing! Of course I have been doing things, it's just that they are boring run of the mill household chores, running around after kids, being sick, you know how it is!

I have got two new petite projects to show you

red cottage pincushion (again using my favourite Cottage Garden Thread "running postman")

lilla flower needlebook, using gorgeous felt on a cotton background.

I am also excited to see lots of people around the world making my "berries and bluebirds" BOM, are you making it and where do you live??? Are you enjoying it?? Let me know I would love to hear from you! It's fun to see where you all are!!

On Friday, Sandra and I took ourselves to Quilts in the Barn. It was a gorgeous sunny day, perfect for looking at quilts, ( and drooling over them!!) and chatting to everyone we met.
We were lucky this year to have Jo Morton come over and bring lots of her beautiful quilts, so inspiring!!
Thanks to Linda and her family and friends for organising the event, a great job again!
