okay so maybe 2! I have been wanting to put my new little birds into a christmas quilt so it makes sense that they would be partridges, here is another stitchery block:
on another note: today has been very exciting as Natalie came for a visit! so of course we headed out to a few shops and our local cafe where we managed to bump into………Leanne and Rosie!!!! (well I sort of rang her and she was already on the way)talk about LOL, my eyes are still sore from crying (laughing so much that I was literally crying!) I am sure that Natalie must think that we are nuts….but a great time was had before Natalie had to head off towards Warburton and a lovely day tomorrow (girls stuff again! how much fun is that?)
oh well back to work before I head off tonight to the Foothills Christmas breakup (more fun LOL)
Cheers
Gail xx
PS happy birthday Sue!!!!!!!
Oh that Moda fabric is just gorgeous – I’m getting so much inspiration from you and Leanne, how do you manage to come up with such fab ideas??? Even my teenage daughter wants to have a go at stitchery after peering over my shoulder whilst I’ve been reading your blog!!
Good friends out on shopping are always so much fun and laughter. Quilt friends are the best 🙂
Terrific stitchery! Love it! I just read Leanne’s post about you all meeting up and saw the photo…would have enjoyed hanging with that group myself! Happy Weekend, Gail!
I love the partridges too cute – glad you are having some quality girl time.
Lovely quilt. The partridges are gorgeous!
just saw Leanne’s post and you girls look like you had a wonderful time together…..you are so lucky……..
What a fun day you girls had! You can enjoy that moment for a long time! Your new christmas quilt looks promising! Look forward to see it all!
Loving your new Xmas quilt Gail, I am enjoying watching it evolve. Great fabrics as well, are you using a jelly roll?
Cheers Sue
