Today I went on a little day trip to Warburton to take Liam to a school chess competition (which his school won!! yeah and he got a medal!!!) so I decided to stay up and fill in my time shopping, reading and browsing the great shops there. Of course I had to drop in and see Carol from Heart & Home Patchwork in Yarra Junction. Carol supported me when I first started out and it is nice to drop in and say hello.
I forgot my camera so I took these photos with my phone (and thanks to Jarrod they are now on my computer!!!)
Carol with some of her yummy fabrics
As you can see she has some of the Elm Creek Quilts fabric and has completed the quilt top from the website.
Carol's husband makes these lovely quilt stands and also hanging shelves in lovely finishes (like mahogany and dark brown) Heart & Home is on the main street in Yarra Junction on the left as you go through town and Carol would love to see you (03) 5967 1700
Of course I bought some gorgeous fabric but no photo yet….next time!!

I have finished a new sample for a pattern I did 3 years ago for Homespun. I have had requests for the pattern and decided it might be time to freshen it up. Here it is made out of Madeira fabrics (one of my favourites) and I am very happy with it. Colleen at Buttontree Quilts will have the patterns soon……
