and who is counting? I have just about finished my shopping, I have 1 more present to buy for my 13 yr old neice…mmmm….what do girls like? (having only boys I have no idea on what to get….thats where my sister comes in handy…she always has good ideas…or maybe I should ask my 14 yr old neice!) oh…and also I will be making Mrs Perkins for my little nephew who is now 9 weeks old and doing really well. He has been transfered to a closer hospital and hopefully we can visit him on the weekend. Sadly he won’t be home for Christmas but we will all be thinking of him. (born 15 weeks prem in October)
now for an update on my Tassie quilt……more blocks are done and stitched, here are 2 alternate blocks with an applique block, I have stitched "lace" around the applique
here are some of the fabrics I am using….nice and summery don’t you think?
well off to pick up Liam from school…1 more day for him….will it ever end?
Merry Christmas to all
Gail xx
Hey Gail, your Tassie quilt is looking pretty special. I love your choice of fabrics, too.
Merry Christmas and big hugs. x x
like the materials you are getting together for this project………..
Maybe your 13-year-old neice would like some fabrics and quilting lessons from her very talented auntie?? Your Tassie quilt is looking lovely, as usual – and I love the idea of the “lace” trim around the applique – very clever!
Love the fabric combinations. Merry Christmas!
Your Tassie quilt is looking lovely, your colours are always so good together! My children finished school yesterday for the holidays and the Tree has already been down, not sure whether it will make it to the big day! LOL!

What great colours!
As for the 13 year old…I have one of those and she loves LUSH which sells really stinky (but nice stinky) soaps potions and lotions. Something like that might go down well.
The quilt is coming together nicely. Give me girls to buy for any time I can buy 10 pressies for Gemma & and struggle to find 1 for Lucas.
