Well, another Christmas over and it’s time to relax and enjoy the holidays. We had a really nice and relaxing day with my family, the weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold! We had yummy food and not too much of it. my neice made these cupcakes and they tasted as nice as they looked. My mum gave me this quilt calendar, it’s a day by day one with lots of patterns, think I’ll be just looking at these for now, I will need to find some extra time if I want to start making them! the next few weeks will be spent catching up on some ufos from the last couple of years, doing a couple of jigsaws, watching movies and then camping for 6 days before school returns and also finishing my Tassie quilt!
so to all who are having a long holiday like me, I hope it is a fun filled one.
Be back soon!!!
Cheers
Gail
Great cupcakes & calendar! It sounds like you have some good things in store.
Enjoy your break. The quilt calendar will be fun.
Yummy cupcakes and the calendar is such a sweet treat! Lucky you! 🙂
Hi Gail,
The cakes look yummy – I have set myself the target of finishing off a few things like you hopefully I will stick with that plan.
Wishing you a safe and happy new year.
Hi Gail, glad to see you had a nice christmas. I have joined in a birthday swap and the first birthday is the end of January so I have to be making something new so no UFO’s for me just yet and I also have to finish the embroidery on a dress I am making for my daughter for her birthday so that has got to be fitted in somewhere as well (that might be a christmas pressie next year if it doesn’t happen real soon). Have a lovely rest of the holiday.
I got the same type of calendar last year for Christmas. It is full of great blocks. Unfortunately I haven’t had time to make any.
