AQM

Wow…what a great weekend we had at the AQM trade show in Melbourne. A fantastic opportunity to meet up with lots of other designers and also shop owners, and to have a look at what is new in fabrics and designs and threads and……. the list goes on!!!

I was able to meet the fabulous Amy Butler (no I didn't stalk her LOL), she was very gracious with her time and I know she signed about a hundred books (mine included!!) I had my photo taken with her but on Leanne's camera so still waiting for that.

I also met up with Linda from Gum Valley Patchwork, Sarah from Quilt Fabric Delights and Jane from The Patchwork Apple.

You can pop over to LynetteLeanne, Rosie, Natalie , Janelle and Melly to see more photos. I also met the most gorgeous new baby……yes Natalie bought her tiny gorgeous girl along, she was a dream…..and Natalie was able to catch up with lots of people!!

Finally for today…(yes i will be back to show what fabric I bought), don't forget to leave a comment on the PREVIOUS post to win a copy of one of my new patterns…..a bag called Emma Jane

that's all for now, I am off to play with fabric!!!

Cheers

Gail

  1. Oh that must have been a fun and rewarding time for you. Can’t wait to see what you bought. Your booth is very appealing.

  2. Love the new header. Yes it was a great market!! Too many gorgeous things to tempt us. Blew the budget, but it’s all good.

  3. I left a comment on your email so you told me to write something on your blog and maybe have the chance of winning a quilt pattern.
Yes I love you patterns and the color of red that you use quite abit as that is one of my favourite colors. I live in Canada and don’t think I have seen any of your patterns yet. Unless you have a site that we can buy them from you. I really like to stitch and quilt and your patterns have both. Keep up the good work, and happy quilting. Sandi
