AQM…what fun!!

What a great time we all had at the Australian Quilt Market in Melbourne over the weekend. I met lots of lovely ladies and talked and laughed my way through the weekend. It was lovely to meet Lynette and her hubby and spend the weekend getting to know them. Also to catch up with Leanne May (who has a new blog so take a look) from Candlelight Creations.

P1020178 I also met up with Lyn from Moore Patchwork, we have been keeping an eye on each other through the blogs and it was great to meet her in person. I also met Di Mill who was wearing the most gorgeous shoes (yes…red!!!you may need to scroll down a bit to see them on Leannes blog). She was also very lovely.

P1020179 Here is Melly who is still recovering from Houston (now she can relax a little!!).

It was so nice to meet Helen too, she has such lovely designs and has perfected the art of colouring on quilts. Well enough for today, I will be back later with more pictures.

But of course I need to draw a winner……so………congrats to Sue (nov 17, 1.36pm), Helen Nash and Caitlin O’Connor. send me an email with your address and I will pop the patterns in the post for you!!

Well I am off to do some housework (and maybe a little lunch?).

Bye for now

  3. Hi Gail,
Sounds like you had a ball at the AQM.Congrats on your newly completed Chrissy quilt. It is really lovely. It’s getting me in the Christmas spirit! ho ho ho… All the very best with it. Don’t you hate it when the ol’ housework sticks it head out and wants your attention, but the needle and thread looks a whole lot better. LOL
    Cheers
    Natalie 🙂
