This one is Willy's, she is blanket stitching hers and it looks great!

P1030971
This one is Lillian's, she is doing needleturn applique and it looks fabulous too!

I have made a little progress on my pink project…..can't show anything yet but maybe a sneak peek will appear soon!!!

We are having a glorious sunny day in Melbourne today. I hope you are having a nice day wherever you are!!!

Bye for now!!

What do you think?

I am not usually a pink type of girl but I bought these fabrics today from Foothills.  I need to design a project for a workshop and I wanted to push myself to design in different colours. The perle thread will be for quilting and the pink DMC for some of the stitching. The pink ric rac will finish it off. So what do you think?

P1030968

and just because I have nothing else to do (yeah right!!!), somebody who will remain nameless    talked me into making this quilt with her….what was I thinking??? Of course I think it will take about 10 years but it should be fun and I am looking forward to starting this week.

I am also starting some new projects for a fantastic workshop that I will be teaching at later in the year. Details will be out shortly but lets just say that I am sooooo EXCITED to be going and to meeting some lovely ladies.

In the meantime I have booked to go to Inspired Stitches with my friend Sue. It will be great fun to catch up with all the girls in SA and maybe to get a stitch or two done!!! (not likely I think I will spend most of the day talking!!!!!)

Bye for now

Gail
