Back to reality!!!

So I have been away far longer than I intended to! I took a week off last week to head to the beach camping. Sometimes a forced rest is what you need and I did need it! Had a lovely time, no work at all this time! A couple of books and a little bit of cross stitch!

Yesterday I spent a great day at Somerset patchwork in Mount Waverley, teaching a lovely group of ladies how to needleturn applique. It's such a small world though as one of the ladies, Annette, is the mother of a friend from Jarrods primary school days!!!

I only have 7 weeks until I head off overseas with Helen so I will be working hard to get everything ready, I am so excited!!!

I have also confirmed another workshop in Aus, this time in Cairns with Helen Stubbings.

  1. Glad you had some ‘off’ time!! There’s nothing like camping at the beach. Hope you successfully restored you energy, because it looks like you’ll be pretty busy.

  2. Hi Gail, Boy, as busy as you have been, a week off sounds like it was just what you needed. You know of course that your little sneak peeks are driving me crazy, LOL. I can’t wait to see the complete project. Bob asks me what you are doing these days and I just have to tell him I can’t keep up with you, you’re soooo busy! He says be sure to tell you ‘Hi’!!! Stay busy but be sure you always take some “ME” time to maintain a small level of sanity *wink*.
Big Hugs…write one of these ‘years’ when you have time, LOL. (like you have so much time to spare huh?) Hugs and tell Sandra Hello for Bob and me.

  3. PS…let me know if you need anything from the Shepherds Bush. I’m going over there next week to browse a bit! Hugs…

  4. That’s teasing. Especially when one lives in Perth and we don’t have these workshops or retreats. Can’t wait to see this project. Looks really cute. Love redwork stitcheries. Don’t keep us waiting too long.
