So, here is a new pattern, a bag that I have named "bloom". The fabric I have used is Lynette Anderson's new range of fabric that is not quite out yet. It is called "wildflower wood". I have also used Cottage Garden Threads in "waterwheel" to stitch with..

                                    

  I have also added a newsletter sign up to the left side of the blog. If you would like to receive my newsletter (I promise i won't bombard you with too many) then complete the details and you will be on the list! I have been extremely busy over the last five months, working on a new book for Christmas. I was not sure whether I was going to be able to pull this off, but yesterday I got the proofs to read and on Tuesday, all should be ready to go to print!

It has been a huge learning curve for me as I have done all the graphic design myself, going to class on Thursday nights, then working on a new part of the book on the Friday.

 I have an ETA of Friday the 12th April and will have it for sale at Stitched in Time (all going well of course)

Simply Christmas 2013 will also be available to buy at AQC in Melbourne from the 17th April – 20th April. All the samples will be on The Patchwork Teahouse booth and I will also be there to sign books…I will let you know the exact times soon.

I have been busy with a new idea for a free pattern for when I am out and about. If you visit me on Saturday at The Monbulk Quilt show you will be able to be one of the first people to receive one.

                               

I have been keeping it a secret for a few weeks and when they arrived I was so excited!!

There is one design on the back to use as you desire, I have made a pincushion, needlebook and little framed piece as suggestions, but of course you can choose what you will stitch it for!!

                                

All you need are scraps, you can see I have used a litle bit of lace and buttons too!
This red one is my favourite I think but I also love this purple one!

                                 

 So if you are going to see me sometime this year, you will be able to receive one (and there may well be a Christmas one waiting in the wings…..hint Michele..)

I am so excited (yes I know..again!!) to announce that I will be teaching on a cruise to New Zealand next year!!

I am back, didn't mean to be away so long, where does the time fly? I have been so busy working on secret stuff… and also working away with Leanne, planning our fabulous trip to Hawaii in August. (we still have a few spots left if you are thinking of joining us, even if you are in the US!!)

I hope you are all enjoying the summer (well for us here in Aus anyway!) I just have to show you this version of Berries and Bluebirds by Tammy from Tammy Woods Design.

Only the binding to go! I love the small green border and the red border (if you look closely you can see some lovely quilting in the border). As much as my fave colour is blue, I love this red one!!
