I’m back!!

Hi everyone, I am back from my big trip to the US with Sandra. Wow, what a fantastic time we had and we met some of the most fantastic people too!

Salt Lake City is gorgeous and had just enough snow to look like a postcard but not too much to be cold!!

Before I show some photos I need to mention a couple of places I will be in early July. First I will be over in Adelaide with Sarah and her team at Quilt Fabric Delights on the weekend of 2/3 July. Pop over to Sarah's blog for more details.

Next I will be hitting the road on Monday 4th July for a trunk show at Stawell Craft Shop, followed by a one day workshop on Tuesday 5th July. If you are interested in joining me there, please call the ladies at the shop on 5358 4313. It is so much fun to meet lots of sewing friends and I am looking forward to going away again!

Santa monica
Sandra and I spent a lovely day in Santa Monica, shopping, eating and happily browsing through the biggest antique mall we have seen!

Golden
Next it was off to Denver where we spent a day in Golden, not too far away, to visit the Rocky Mountain Quilt Musuem.

Littleton
We also got ourselves to Littleton, a gorgeous town south of Denver. This is painted on the side of the train station.

Shepherds bush1
Here I am with Nancy, who I met through blogging. (hi Nancy!!!) she was kind enough to drive us around to some great shops, including Shepherd's Bush (oh my where do I start!) We had the best day!!!

Kim
and with the lovely Kim Diehl, we were so lucky to be able to do a 2 day workshop with her. Such gorgeous quilts and a fantastic teacher, we had the best time!!!

that's all for now, otherwise you might have to put up with photo overload!

I'll be back with more photo's at the end of the week!

Cheers

Gail

I had a wonderful time though and was so excited that you could take time during your very busy trip to spend the entire day with me. I fear that I wore you both out that day though. I truly hope to see you again some day if you get back over here in the future. I promise I will stay on the right side of the road when I drive, LOL. Hugs…
