it’s lovely to see

I really love it when I get to see what people having been making from my patterns. It’s very satisfying that my patterns are being enjoyed. Lyn from Moore Patchwork has made up my Heart of the Home Backpack and it looks fantastic, so take a look at her blog to see the finished bag. If you would like to share anything you have made from my patterns, feel free to email me with a photo and I can put it on my blog (I do so love show & tell).

We have friends coming over tonight for dinner and then Robyn and I can sew (she’s a quilter also) we are planning to make a double wedding ring, is it ambitious that I want to hand piece mine? I have only ever made one other hand pieced item and that was a small table runner. I am looking forward to it among all the other projects I am making (I can’t just have one project to do I NEED to have at least four on the go, not including my own new patterns!)

enjoy your weekend where ever you are!

Cheers

Gail xx

  1. Gail l think we should all do a double wedding ring, l had planned to start one, we had a class at the shop which l was going to join in on but it became booked out. I will make it though, we celebrate our 25th anniversary year after next and l’d love to give it to Ray as a gift.

  2. Hi Gail, just realised you had a blog! Love the sneak peak of the bag we will be making in Loxton, can’t wait – not long now! I think you are very brave to hand piece a quilt, keep us updated.
