I just had to show you this gorgeous version of Laila's garden made by Stina. I was so lucky to meet Stina last year when Leanne and I went to Norway.
(I have permission from Stina to use her photo!)
Stina has just had an exhibition of her quilts, you can check it out here
I absolutely LOVE the way she has used lots of different fabrics, maybe I need to make myself another one just like hers!!!
Stina has done such a beautiful job, if you would like the pattern, ask your local patchwork shop or look down the left side of my blog for stockists.Have a great week
Cheers
Gail
PS we are having such a great time at QFDcreative for "Christmas in July", it has been so great to chat to lots of women from all over the world…..have a look here
I love how Stina puts colours together and this quilt looks so different to your original one!
I love Stina’s version too, so I have asked her permission to make a similar one.
OOpps… saw something I recognized here..lol.. Thanks Gail for your lovely things said… Go for it..use lots and lots of fabrics… easier and easier to match fabrics then..:o) And I sooo loved the time spent with you and Leanne in Norway.. Hugs!!!!
Hi Gail, Stina is really clever and everything she makes is just perfect.
I have just finished my Christmas velcome and one little stitchery-a basket from your lovely book.
Please show a pic of how your winter looks like. I have summer and can still stay outside doing some stitchery at ten o´clock.
Hugs from Louise D
