well here I am back again with a photo of the start of my new christmas design…not sure about a name yet, still thinking about it……but here is a glimpse of one of the blocks..
I have used the Moda range "Roman Holiday" it is so lovely and when I saw it I knew I had to use it ( I still have "Yuletide Blessings" for another quilt!) I really love all the Christmas fabrics that are available and Christmas is such fun….only about 7 weeks to go!!
I hope to have this finished by the end of the week so for those of you going to "Foothills Christmas" on Saturday night I will have it with me and all will be revealed! (Nothing like a bit of pressure on myself..LOL).
We have a public holiday tomorrow for the Melbourne Cup. For those of you overseas it is the biggest horse race in Australia….and we get a day off! We usually have a BBQ with friends and we are hoping tomorrow will be a nice day…we have had lots and lots of rain in the last couple of days which has been really lovely, we certainly need it.
I will be back soon with more christmas blocks.
Cheers
Gail xx
