As i mentioned previously I managed to get myself booked into the Stitchers Dream Day Out in Highfields. It was a bit chilly in the morning but turned out to be a glorious day of sunshine, here is a photo of Lynettes project
so clever of her, I love it and hopefully will have some time soon to make it (am I dreaming?)
I also dropped in to my girlfriends at Port Macquarie for a couple of nights. Julie and I went through school together and even though we dont see each other a lot it is always fun to catch up. The second coincidence is that Julies husband Steve grew up in Walcha (a small town in NSW), and the lady who owns the patchwork shop there (Leanne) has met Julie. Julie mentioned that her friend (me) does patchwork and Leanne knew of me..it is such a small world. I was hoping to meet Leanne in Highfields but she was there on the Sat and I was there on the Sun (it took all morning for me to realise that after looking for her and not finding her).
this is the lighthouse at Port Macquarie, such a beautiful place….
so back to the normal life for me, kids back at school tomorrow, hubby out to work and me? well I hope to be sewing!!LOL
