My quilt "one little flower" (okay so there are 83 really) will be the project for a class at Foothills Fabric and Threads on Thursday 18th August at 7pm.
This is a great quilt to use up lots of scraps and to learn needleturn applique (by the last flower you will be an expert!)
So if you would like to join us please ring the shop on 9754 6166 to book in!!
I am happy to be home now until the end of september when I travel down to Gum Valley Patchwork to teach at a workshop with Lenora. I think it is full but you can always ask Linda to go on the waiting list!
You must go over to Linda's blog and see her Dear Prudence quilt. It is made of tiny 1/4" hexagons and won best of show at the Melbourne Craft Fair. It truly is stunning to say the least. A big CONGRATULATIONS to Linda!!
Have a great week everyone
Cheers
Gail
It’s a lovely quilt Gail, wish I could come over and do the class. It was great to see you at the Craft Show!
Cheers

Spectacular, that most precious quilt. Greetings from Costa Rica,
Wonderful!! A pity I’m too far away to attend your class…
Thanks Gail….my head is still in the clouds…..just about to do some farm work so that will bring me back down earth….lol!
I’ve always admired this quilt Gail – well done its really lovely!!
Every time I see it again I think – “Yep still really like that quilt”…
Congrats on a superb design!
Best wishes always Cath xoxo
Gail, I’m so glad you get to be home for a while. You have been soooo busy. Oh my gosh, I read all about the Dear Prudence quilt a few nights ago. Linda did an incredible job…the quilt and everything about her story had me crying when she told about the announcment for the winners. (and I already knew how her story ended, but I got weepy all the same, LOL). Big Hugs and please tell Sandra Hi! for me too.
Those are super cute. I like you on Facebook.
Thanks, I’m going to have nightmares tonight.
