Sneak peak..

I have been busy stitching this week to get some new patterns ready for the upcoming AQM (trade show) in Melbourne. Here is a glimpse of one of the new stitcheries:

P1020096 I have also made them into pockets on a bag so that there are a couple of options.

here is a work in progress:

P1020091 and here is a matching one

P1020095 there are another two to go with them and then I will make them up into a wall hanging ( I do reserve the right to change my mind though!!!) I will probably use the lovely blue fabric that is in the picture (madeira range) as you know how much I love blue! then there is the Christmas pattern also but that will have to be for another post.

The third coincidence that I mentioned that occured in Queensland is: we were camped in sunny QLD and the couple next to us were living in their caravan waiting while their new house was being built. The lady saw that I was stitching and mentioned that her daughter works in a patchwork shop in Melbourne. It just so happened that I was in that shop a week before we left and her daughter served me! (not quite the same as knowing someone but pretty close). it certainly is a small world.

Today Leanne left for her big adventure to Norway, so if you are one of the lucky ones to meet her, look after her for us and have a great time. We will miss her but look forward to hearing all about it when she gets home!! (not to mention the thousands of pictures..LOL).

Have a good weekend in your part of the world

Cheers

Gail xx

  2. Hi Gail, Your stitcheries are looking a little precious. Can’t wait to see them finished . I have been a sucker for blue fabric lately. Just bought this gorgeous powder blue with sweet little daisies on it. Very 1930’s. How’d your muffins turn out? LOL
