What a whirlwind trip down to Launceston for the workshop at The Country Quilter. Rosie, Natalie and I had a lovely time meeting up with Rose to present our gorgeous projects.
We were lucky to stay at a beautiful B & B (Nirvana B & B) just outside of Launceston, with gorgeous rooms and gardens. Very inspiring indeed.
Here I am with Christine, who has posted some great photos of all the projects on her blog.
It was lovely to meet some fellow bloggers (although they did get in trouble for not letting me know until Sunday who they were!!!! LOL) Christine came on her own but soon met some other girls who made her feel very welcome.
We had a great time and were exhausted by the time we got home.
If you are going to the Quilt Convention in Melbourne this week, I will be helping Lesley at the Foothills stand on Friday. Stop by and say hello. My quilt from the weekend, Summer’s Bouquet will be available in both a pattern or a kit. See you there!!!!
Be back soon
Cheers

Hi Gail. Glad you had a great time in Tassie. The B and B looks very nice. Thanks for showing me how to do needle turn applique – I’ve wanted to learn this for a long time. Between work, blogging and getting ready to come to Melbourne I haven’t had much time to stitch but Sally’s pinafore is nearly done. For my first effort I’m very pleased – obviously had a great teacher. See you on Friday. Happy stitching. Christine.
Hello from Claudia in Berlin/Germany….

Looks like a great time was had by all. Sounds wonderful.
Ohh I wish I could have joined you…it will be some dream to wish come true !!!
