OK…so I forgot a little about the challenge set by Helen (no… I wasn't eating chocolate!!!) at the Gathering last week. Then I saw this post….yikes…..the deadline is tomorrow……so off to the sewing room for a quick little project….
I started out with this fabric (pink, no less!!!)
so I stitched this
and made it into this
a little pincushion!!!!
and I also quilted this…..my poor fingers…that is why I forgot all about the challenge!!!
now all I need is a name!!!!! (oh and binding…will save that for tomorrow!!!)
Have a good week!!
Cheers
Gail
What a lovely pincushion! The button matches it perfectly too.
I only finished mine off today, and will do a post tomorrow.
You super clever lady…I love that pincushion. And the stitchery that goes with it.
The pincushion is adorable. You obviously work well under pressure. Hope you get a chance to rest the fingers a little bit. L,A-
Beautiful!
Sweet pincushion, wonder how the rest of the challengees are going?
Looove that pincushion Gail!!!! Any chance for a pattern?
Your cushion is so sweet, well done Gail!!

What a sweet little pincushion! I was late on a challenge project last week. With Easter coming up, I just plain lost track of time but I got it done and mailed just a couple of days late. I decided I’m going to pass on swaps and challenges for a bit so I can do a little “catch up”. Like sewing your Christmas blocks together! and a few other projects! 🙂
Love the applique on your quilt…very pretty!
what a lovely pin cushion Gail, where can i get this pattern from to make one. Fran……. Cairns QLD
Hi,
I live in Louisiana, USA and was just surfing web; found this site and love your quilts and everything you do. Downloaded last yrs. Christmas BOM and other Christmas patterns. I LOVE redwork and so those type patterns really appeal to me. I want to sign up for newsletter so I can keep up with you. Thanks so much for the beautiful projects.
