Happy New Year everyone!! Well, that was a longer than intended blog break! I have been here but really have just enjoyed some time off before I start another hectic year. We have had some lovely weather up until Christmas and leading into the New Year but for the last 8 days or so it has rained pretty much non stop! The good thing about the rain is that we wont have any fires, the bad thing about the rain is it's not good for camping! I am thankful though that we don't have the floods that have devastated Queensland and New South Wales, but Victoria is now getting the rain and some parts are flooded. My thoughts go out to all those who have lost loved ones and their homes. To help rebuild you can donate here http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html.
Here is a little look at my newest design, still have to write the pattern but it will be out soon. I have used Lynette's fabric "summertime friends" which is just gorgeous!
I hope to be back soon with some more news and maybe some more finished projects!!
Enjoy yourself wherever you are and whatever you are doing! and I hope the rain stops soon..
Cheers
Gail
PS, if you go here Facebook
you can bid to win a full set of Berries and Bluebirds, all the money will be donated to the QLD govt flood relief fund
Yet another lovely project to look forward to. A great start to the new year Gail. Thankyou for showing us.
Gail, I love what I can see of the new quilt. Your right, the fabric is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see the finished project, yet another beauty to drool over, LOL. I’m excited to see what you have in store for us for 2011. Hugs…
Looking forward to your new pattern. I actually bought some of Lynettes new fabrics yesterday, they are beautiful 🙂
Happy New Year Gail! Your new design looks really cute 🙂 We just got Lynette’s fabric in at the shop, and it is lovely!
Hi Gail ! As always your new project seems very, VERY nice !!! I hope you won’t have any damage with rain… the flood is really awful.

Thanks Gail, I am in Brisbane and am one of the lucky ones(we were ordered to evacuate, but felt safer to stay put, so many got swept off the road, too scary). It is hard not to feel guilty that we have come through unscathed. I am loving seeing the support from everyone, it is beautiful to see a community working so hard for their fellow man. It is people like you, donating selflessly, that make all the difference. Thank you!
Hi Gail and Happy New Year to you too!
Love the sneak peeks – do you ever sleep? *giggle*
I hope all is well in your world,
Warm wishes!
