Because nice matters

I have been tagged a few times now for the Nice Matters Award. So thanks to Leanne, May Brit and Anita. I am not sure how to put the lovely pink card on here so visit one of these girls to take a look.

Thanks also to Amanda, who has let her yahoo group know about my patterns. I met Amanda at Loxton and you must visit her site to see her completed bags. She has used the lovliest fabrics to make them and is very pleased with the results.

I have had a fairly hectic week with a 10th birthday, 2 meetings, 1 sick boy, dentist visits for 2 boys and the usual busy mum things. I have also got a couple of meetings next week (especially my sewing group meeting!) and it is also shaping up to be hectic again. But I wouldnt have it any other way, I am so blessed to have a great family and great friends and I love to be busy!! (LOL well most of the time!!)

So, have a good weekend and maybe a little time for stitching!

Gail xx

  1. Amanda’s bag is fabulous I saw it the other night at our sewing group, she had lots of good show and tell as she always does. She’s an amazing girl and does so much most importantly being a mum of two (4 & 6 year olds) as well as all the other things she does she leaves me for dead, but is a wonderfull friend. I have a sick chick at the moment even though she is 23 you still cant help but mother and worry. But I am hoping to get a bit a sewing time this weekend work some more on my Loxton bag and my multitude of other projects!!! 🙂 Cheers Sue

  2. Hi Gail
So nice to go onto your blog. Have just arrived home from our big holiday. Our internet came in and out, so frustrating. We had a fabulous time from seeing dolphins in Monkeymia, pelicans in Kalbarri, whales in Coral Bay and more whales, turles, stingrays in Exmouth. The weather was great – approx 28C each day. We have come home to rain and it is cold. Thanks again for a wonderful time in Loxton, I took my bag with me and have finished all the handsewing, just ready to be assembled now.
    In friendship
    Meg
