New pattern

I have finished my new design "Flowers for thee" and I think I have finished writing the pattern also (I say think because I will read over it again tomorrow before I send it off to my distributor) I quite enjoyed doing this one as I am into stars at the moment, I also like the sawtooth border as this is the first time I have done one in a design and I think it looks good!!!!

I am very happy with the way it has turned out. It should be available next week.

I have also changed my photo again…..I have had my haircut a bit shorter than the older photo and thought it might be nice to update. I hate having my photo taken, but I think my son Jarrod has taken a nice one (he has taken lots but this is the best).

I have had a lovely chat with Kim today and am looking forward to meeting her and Natalie next week when they come to Melbourne for the Glenharrow stitch-in. Leanne and Rosie are having their annual retreat days and it is a lot of fun.

And so onto the next project which I can’t show you as it is for Homespun magazine!! and then onto another new quilt which I have designed already and just need the time to make it (hint…its a Christmas quilt!)

Well that’s all for now

cheers

Gail xx

  1. oooh I like this one. I’m into stars at the moment too. Made 4 today to go around Leanne’s loxton quilt only another 12 to go but I have to have a play with EQ tonight to work out how I am going to put it all together.

  2. wow! how fast you can quilt! I am so envious. I think that photo of you is lovely, your son is certainly a good photographer! 🙂
