Sandra and I are starting our journey home after two weeks in Houston. What a fabulous time we have had and met some wonderful people as well as catching up with friends.
Here is my booth, all ready forMarket!.

Only one more sleep until I fly to Houston for International Quilt Market….wow…it's been a long time coming!!!

I have been very busy lately and one of the things I have been doing is stitching a little ornament to be a part of this

12 Designers over 4 weeks to bring you a little Christmas cheer…..

It all starts on the 6th Nov, I will be publishing my design on the 6th Nov along with two other great designers……although it may be the 7th Nov here in Aus as I will be flying home on the 5th Nov and not get home until the 7th….yeah…miss a whole day…lucky it's not my birthday!! It will also be the 6th in the US when it's the 7th here and I don't want to be ahead of the other designers…….make sense??

Once again I have used Aurifil thread to stitch my little ornament….

so you can probably guess what it is!!

The other day Leanne dropped around with a copy of the latest issue of her magazine  Vignette.

And look who has a project in there…….me!!

Leanne has also written all about me (well not quite all!!!) too…..and taken some gorgeous photos of my garden and sewing room…

WOW, what a wonderful weekend in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, teaching for Karen and Brendan from The Stitching Post. We had a roomful of enthusiastic ladies who were keen to have a great weekend.

I left on Friday to travel with Lisa from Fig'n'Berry to Sydney. It was a bit of a nervous morning though as Friday morning it snowed very heavily in Katoomba and all the roads were closed!!

Here is The Stitching Post, all wrapped up in gorgeous snow!! We managed to get through in the late afternoon and arrived to the shop with lots of ladies enjoying the cocktail party.

here I am with Pam, who I have been emailing with for a while now and we finally got to meet. It was so good to chat in person!!

Ros came all the way from Perth to spend the weekend with Sandy and I was soooo happy to see them, they are such great fun!!! Rocky Road!!!

Karen made these gorgeous birds as the centre piece and all the ladies got to take one home!! Where isthe green one Ros??

I had just the BEST time and a huge thank you to Karen and Brendan who looked after us so well!! I met some lovely ladies and I felt very special to be able to spend time with them.

If you get a chance you really must visit!!

    I am so excited to release the details of an amazing trip for 2013!!

Leanne Beasley( from Leanne's House) and I, along with Annette Dal Sasso from Hawthorn travel have been planning a wonderful trip to Hawaii!!! A truly fabulous place to visit with lots of exciting things to do, including shopping of course!! We will have time to stitch, dream and play in this most gorgeous tropical paradise!! If you have always wanted to visit Hawaii, here is your chance to go with a wonderful group of like minded women and to make some lasting friendships.  Sound like fun??
