I’m back!!

Hi everyone, I am back from my big trip to the US with Sandra. Wow, what a fantastic time we had and we met some of the most fantastic people too!

Salt Lake City is gorgeous and had just enough snow to look like a postcard but not too much to be cold!!

Before I show some photos I need to mention a couple of places I will be in early July. First I will be over in Adelaide with Sarah and her team at Quilt Fabric Delights on the weekend of 2/3 July. Pop over to Sarah's blog for more details.

Next I will be hitting the road on Monday 4th July for a trunk show at Stawell Craft Shop, followed by a one day workshop on Tuesday 5th July. If you are interested in joining me there, please call the ladies at the shop on 5358 4313. It is so much fun to meet lots of sewing friends and I am looking forward to going away again!

Santa monica
Sandra and I spent a lovely day in Santa Monica, shopping, eating and happily browsing through the biggest antique mall we have seen!

Golden
Next it was off to Denver where we spent a day in Golden, not too far away, to visit the Rocky Mountain Quilt Musuem.

Littleton
We also got ourselves to Littleton, a gorgeous town south of Denver. This is painted on the side of the train station.

Shepherds bush1
Here I am with Nancy, who I met through blogging. (hi Nancy!!!) she was kind enough to drive us around to some great shops, including Shepherd's Bush (oh my where do I start!) We had the best day!!!

I'll be back with more photo's at the end of the week!

Had a lovely day at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum in Golden. Met some lovely ladies there. Then we were lucky to get a lift to the Quilters Newsletter offices and met the lovely staff there including Joli and Kelly. Wow, how inspiring, they all just love quilts!
Have also bought a gorgeous antique quilt! (not this one)
A bit cold in Denver but I am sure we will be warm tomorrow at the quilt show!

Petite Patterns winners

Sorry for the delay, I said at the end of the week and I sort of lost the end of last week! Couldn't tell you what I did with my time but it went anyway!

The winners of a set of 4 petite projects are Leeanne and Pip, so congrats girls and send me an email with your address and I will post them off to you. I hope you enjoy them!

Only 3 weeks and 6 days until I head off over to the US for a holiday and a bit of work as well. I will be having a booth at Spring Market (wholesale show) in Salt Lake City and am busy getting everything ready!

I will also enjoy some holiday time with my friend Sandra, we are looking forward to hitting some quilt shops and also the quilt show in Denver!

And one of the best things will be meeting up with Nancy who I have met online. She just happens to live near Salt Lake City!!! How exciting will that be! I can't wait!

Believe in the magic1
Just because I need a photo, I thought I would show you this one. "believe in the magic" is another Christmas wall hanging. I will have this one with me in the US so maybe your local shop owner may see it!

So bye for now as I get back to work!

Cheers
