it’s raining, it’s raining! For the second morning in a row it has been raining and it is soooo lovely. It has been so dry here for so long. I know sunny days are nice but rain is what we need. Here is a photo looking over my backyard (and the neighbours). So does this mean that I can stay inside and sew all day? never mind the housework it will still be here tomorrow!!!
How funny to hear someone happy to see rain. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have had such a rainy year that the ground is slightly unsafe for the big trees – the roots are slogging around and unstable. But since I grew up in Arizona, I do understand the joy at that rain when it finally comes. Hope you got some sewing done.
